The Office of External Affairs at Uttara University successfully organised a significant “Coffee with SOB Alumni” event on Friday, May 10, 2024. This event united notable graduates from the prestigious School of Business (SOB) at Uttara University, creating an opportunity for friendship, motivation, and business connections. The gathering started at 3 pm at the Multipurpose Hall of the University.

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of distinguished individuals, including Prof. Dr. Lekha, the Vice-Chancellor of Uttara University, who served as the honoured chief guest. Accompanying her was the esteemed Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Gour Gobinda Goswami, who brought an air of grandeur to the event. In addition, the esteemed presence of Prof. Dr. ASM Shahabuddin, the highly respected Dean of the School of Business, and Kazi Tareq Ullah, Chairman, Department of Business Administration, Uttara University, emphasised this reunion’s importance.

This event demonstrated the impressive accomplishments of Uttara University’s School of Business (SOB) alumni, many of whom have made significant contributions in global contexts, both in Bangladesh and beyond. The occasion highlighted the worldwide influence of Uttara University’s business education, with 15 graduates from various businesses and organisations in attendance.

Khairul Islam Sazeen, Assistant Manager of Brand and Communication at Alo Education, skillfully and gracefully led the proceedings. He is a distinguished graduate of Uttara University’s School of Business. Sazeen’s skilful anchoring facilitated a smooth and uninterrupted exchange of conversations and personal stories, creating a welcoming and nostalgic atmosphere among the participants.
