Author M. Azizur Rahman releases ‘Elixir of Life’
New book reveals collection of poetry about life in all its nuances
DHAKA, Bangladesh – Author M. Azizur Rahman returns to the publishing world with his newest poetry collection. His fourth book to date, “Elixir of Life” (published by Xlibris UK) showcases poems inspired by his reflections, showing both the positive and negative aspects of life.
Rahman’s view of life comes from the wisdom he gained as a keen observer of life. The nuances of life, the experiences and the struggles – all of these tell a story. He portrays them in his poems, depicting how human nature is very unpredictable. He shows how human sufferings teach each one a different view of life. Marveling at the resilience people show in the face of adversity, he admits how the truth of their realisation touches him as well. Rahman uses poetry to reveal the realities of day to day living.
Inspired by his personal experiences, the poems found in this book have both contemporary and universal themes that readers from any walk of life can relate to. The author believes that the appropriate diction and lucid writing style will differentiate his works from others. “Because this book deals diversified issues connected with the human world, readers will get new ideas about writing poems,” he says. “The readers will find themselves in a realistic ideal of life.”
An eclectic and evocative read, “Elixir of Life” will touch readers’ hearts, nourish their minds and comfort their souls.
