In order to apply to Uttara University as an International student, applicants are required to provide the following items:
Submit the Completed Admission Form.
(a) All certified scanned copies of the original educational records must be submitted. If the original copy of this record is written in a foreign language, a certified English translation is required.
(b) Equivalence certificates (that certify his/ her degree is accepted globally) or a degree evaluated by WES (World Education Services) or UGC in the home country.
All international students must submit a Certification of Financial Records or Bank Statement guaranteeing that they have sufficient funds to cover the necessary educational and living expenses to complete their studies here at UU.
An applicant must submit a recent health fitness report (particularly HIV, Hepatitis, Yellow fever/Ebola, etc. or ny contagious diseases) to ensure his/her physical fitness.
International students are required to get themselves insured for medical coverage, including checkups, hospitalisation etc.
Applicants will apply to their nearest Embassy/High Commission of Bangladesh. The University will not be responsible for arranging visas for any foreign student but will provide information to the embassy (if required).
No one with an on-arrival or tourist visa can study at Uttara University. International students are accepted to study at UU only with a valid visa. Each international student is responsible for having a valid visa.
(a) All International Students are expected to make their own housing arrangements. However, necessary assistance will be provided where applicable or whenever needed.
(b) After University acceptance, students must complete the relevant documentation processing for their Student Visa purposes. The University will not be responsible for arranging Visas for any Foreign Students.
(c) Please be informed that including any false information constitutes grounds for dismissal from the University.
Prospective international students express interest in the program.
Provide detailed information about the programs offered, admission requirements, tuition fees, and other relevant details. Use online resources, brochures, and webinars to disseminate information.
Prospective students assess their eligibility based on academic requirements, language proficiency, and other specific criteria.
Prospective international students submit their applications online or visit the Office of Admissions in case they are already in Bangladesh. Their application includes necessary documents such as transcripts, letters of recommendation, personal statements, and proof of English proficiency.
The admissions team reviews applications to meet academic and language requirements. It may involve an initial screening and evaluation of supporting documents.
Conditional offers are issued to applicants who meet the criteria pending fulfilling specific conditions (e.g., additional documentation and language proficiency improvement). Rejections are communicated to applicants who do not meet the criteria.
Conditionally admitted students fulfil the specified conditions and confirm their acceptance.
Admitted students initiate the visa application process.
Provide necessary documents to support visa applications.
Students arrive at the institution and complete enrollment procedures.
Attend orientation sessions to get acquainted with the campus and academic expectations.
Conduct language proficiency assessments upon arrival, if required.
Students officially start their academic programs.
