On 29 May 2025, the Office of External Affairs (OEA) and the School of Business at Uttara University jointly organized a “The Global Aftermaths of the Ukraine War” seminar at the UU Seminar Hall. The keynote speaker, Dr. Munim Kumar Barai, Professor of Finance and Director of RCAPS at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan, delivered a compelling and insightful address on the global geoeconomic and financial repercussions of the Ukraine war.

The seminar was inaugurated by Professor Haspia Bashirullah, Hon’ble Treasurer of Uttara University, and attended by the Director of the BBA Program along with several distinguished faculty members. Their participation underscored the university’s commitment to engaging with pressing international issues through academic discourse and interdepartmental collaboration.

More than 100 students participated actively, reflecting the growing interest among youth in global affairs and economic challenges. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Soeb Md Shoayeb Noman, Associate Professor and Director of the BBA Program.
