On 19 May 2025, Uttara University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NetCom Learning Global Limited to enhance students’ technical and professional skills in alignment with global market demands. The Office of External Affairs led this impactful initiative as part of its continued efforts to build meaningful industry partnerships.

The signing ceremony took place at the university in the presence of Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Gour Gobinda Goswami, Professor Dr. Mirza Golam Rabbani, Dean of Science and Engineering, and Mohammad Ali, Controller of Examinations & In-Charge of External Affairs, who signed the MoU on behalf of the university. Mr. Abdullah Al Mamun, Country Director, represented NetCom Learning.

Senior faculty members and Anichur Rahman, Senior Assistant Director from the Office of External Affairs, were also present at the event..

This collaboration will enable students to access industry-relevant training and development programs. As part of the initiative, NetCom Learning has already appointed two student ambassadors from Uttara University to support long-term projects.

The MoU marks a significant step toward preparing students for success in the competitive, tech-driven global job market, reinforcing the university’s commitment to providing career-oriented learning opportunities through strategic partnerships.
