More than 57 BBA students and 11 faculty members of the School of Business were present in the seminar on “Investment Modes of Shariah Based Financial Institutions in Bangladesh”. This seminar was organized by the School of Business, Uttara University on 07 August 2021 Saturday at 3.30 pm on Google Meet Platform. Ms. Naznum Shabnam, Principal Officer, EXIM Bank Ltd. (Investments Division) facilitated the program, who has enormous experience and skills in Islamic financing. She spoke on shariah-based banking system, its principles, and different modes of investments that could help the students to differentiate the shariah-based banking system from the traditional banking system clearly. Associate Professor Mr. KaziTareq Ullah, Chairman, Department of Business Administration inaugurated the seminar, and Professor Dr. ASM Shahabuddin, Dean, School of Business delivered his closing remarks. The seminar was hosted by Ms. Nusra Jahan, Assistant Professor, School of Business, Uttara University.
