This is for information for all concerned that the Freshers’ Reception programs are to be conducted in a manner that ensures both academic and cultural alignment with our university’s standards. In this regard, all Deans & Chairpersons are requested to follow the below-mentioned guidelines while planning and organizing the fresher’s reception programs from Spring Semester 2025:

1) Orientation programs must not interfere with or be scheduled immediately before the final semester examinations. Kindly plan these events well in advance to ensure they do not disrupt academic activities;

2) School-wise fresher’s reception program should be organized to foster a sense of belonging within the respective academic community;

3) Strict control of sound levels must be maintained during any cultural activities to minimize disruption to the campus environment;

4) All fresher’s reception programs, including any associated activities, must conclude by sunset to maintain decorum and facilitate smooth campus operations.
