The team “Concrete” consisting of two students of Civil Engineering Department of Uttara University has become champion in the Drafting Contest at “CENNOVATION 2018” organized by the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) on October 12, 2018. At the same time another team from this department named “BD Draft” secured the position of 1st Runner in the same platform. Thirteen students from the Department of Civil Engineering of Uttara University have participated in various events. Three groups participated in Drafting Contest among which one group named “Concrete” has achieved the position of Champion and another team named “BD Draft” secured the position of 1st Runner Up beating the other groups from reputed public and private universities like BUET, DUET, MIST, IUT etc. Whereas a team named “Falcon” from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) have secured 2nd runner up position.
