Department of Computer Science & Engineering organized a Seminar on Career Development for the new students on February 14, 2022. New students from both the day and evening batches joined the event. In his keynote speech, Dr. A.H.M. Saifullah Sadi, Associate Professor, Dept. of CSE, Uttara University and Director of IT Department highlighted the importance of proper career planning for successful career building. He also highlighted importance of learning technology and how the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering opens a lot of opportunities for the graduates. He discussed different areas and sectors of CSE and ICT where CSE graduates can build their career. These included software development, web engineering, networking engineering, cyber security, machine learning, data science and IT management to name a few.  The speaker also discussed how the Department of CSE would help the students to reach their destination and achieve their desired career goal. Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman , Chairman of the department and the program chair of the seminar emphasized that the department would like to see its graduates to become successful professionals, teachers, researchers and entrepreneurs in the near future and that the department would do everything possible to help and facilitate the students to achieve their career goals.
