The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Uttara University organized a seminar titled “Employment Opportunities in Japan” on 12 May 2025 in collaboration with Office of External Affairs. Over 100 outgoing students from various departments attended the event, reflecting strong interest in global career prospects.
The seminar began with an opening speech by Professor Dr. Md. Shakowat Zaman Sarker, who highlighted job opportunities in Japan and the skills required to access them.
Three distinguished Japanese delegates shared valuable insights: Mr. Hiroyasu Hirayama, Chairman, International Human Resources and Technology Exchange, Japan, Mr. Keisuke Shoji, CEO, Shoji Keisuke Atelier Inc, Japan, Mr. Tetsuya Konishi, General Manager, Furniture House Inc, Japan.


They focused on key topics such as the importance of learning Japanese, visa procedures, and associated costs, offering students a practical roadmap for working in Japan.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Anichur Rahman, Senior Assistant Director of the Office of External Affairs (OEA), who appreciated the speakers and attendees for their participation.
e seminar was a valuable initiative that informed and inspired students about international employment pathways in Japan.
