The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following topics: business administration, economics, finance, marketing, accounting, management, organizational behavior, international business, entrepreneurship, human resource management, art history, visual arts, performing arts, literature, language, applied linguistics, philosophy, history, anthropology, sociology, political science, and psychology.
The processing time for submissions to the UU Journal of Business, Arts and Social Sciences is typically 6-8 weeks from the date of submission. However, the processing time may vary depending on the volume of submissions and the availability of reviewers.
The UU Journal of Business, Arts and Social Sciences follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality and validity of the articles published in the journal. All submitted articles undergo an initial editorial review, and then they are sent to at least two external reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Based on the feedback from the reviewers, the editor-in-chief makes a decision on whether to accept, reject, or request revisions to the article.

Authors are invited to submit their original research, reviews, and case studies to the UU Journal of Business, Arts and Social Sciences. All submissions must be original and not previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. The manuscript should be written in English and Bangla and follow the journal's formatting guidelines. The submission should include an abstract, keywords, and a cover letter indicating the originality of the work and the author's contact information.

As part of the submission process, authors must check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors who do not adhere to these guidelines.
The reference system is the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition.
Submissions should be typed double-spaced in their entirety, written in 12-point type Times New Roman, and with 1.5 cm margins.
A full-length article should preferably be between 3000 and 6,000 words and should not exceed 30 pages, including the abstracts, tables, maps, appendices, works cited, etc. The length of a book review should be around 1000-1500 words.
The author’s name, institutional affiliation, and mailing address (email and postal) should be given on a separate cover page with the manuscript to facilitate blind reviewing. Authors are requested to send a brief biography (100 words maximum) on a separate sheet. Manuscripts need to cite updated and recent sources.
UUJBAS follows a double-blind peer-review process. Manuscripts deemed suitable for publication are usually sent to reviewers. The Author must ensure that when a manuscript is submitted to UUJBAS, the manuscript must be an original work. The Author should check the manuscript for possible plagiarism using any program such as Turnitin or any other software before submitting the manuscripts to the UUJBAS Editorial Office.
