Dear All,

We are deeply saddened by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Palestine. The immense suffering and loss endured by countless innocent lives have deeply touched the global conscience. As a community grounded in compassion, justice, and human dignity, Uttara University stands in solidarity with all those affected by this tragedy.

As a mark of respect and to allow our students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to reflect and express their solidarity in peaceful ways, all academic activities at Uttara University will remain closed on Monday 7th April 2025.

We encourage everyone to use this time for contemplation, prayer, and advocacy for peace and humanity.

Faculty members are requested to extend their support to the students as they navigate this difficult time.

Academic activities will resume on Tuesday 8th April 2025.
