The orientation program for the Spring 2023 semester of the Department of EEE was held on 1st February 2023. The program was organized to welcome the fresher students and give them insight into the department and the university. The program started with the fresher students entering the hall rooms and taking their seats with the help of volunteers.

The guests were seated at the front with the audience and included the Chairman (EEE), Mr. Rezaul Karim, Mr. Delwar Hossen, Mr. Shafiq Uddin, Mr. Md. Moiful Alam, Mr. Mahmood Reaz Sunny, and Mr. Atique Masud. The program was then given consent to start by the Program Chair, Professor Dr. Nurul Alam Khan, Dean, School of Science and Engineering, Uttara University.

The program continued with reciting verses from the Holy Quran and the National Anthem (chorus). This was followed by the welcome speech by the chairman of the Department of EEE. A video slide presentation was then given, introducing the Department of EEE and Uttara University.
The guests then took their seats on stage with the support of volunteers. Then the welcome speech was given by Dr. Shakowat Zaman Sarker, Assoc. Prof. & Chairman, Dept. of EEE. Then, the curriculum
& OBE presentation was given by Mr. Mahmood Reaz Sunny, Assistant Professor & Coordinator of dept. of EEE.
The speech of the Guest of Honor, Kazi Mahiuddin, Registrar, Uttara University, was followed by the speech of the Chief Guest, Professor Eaysmin Ara Lekha, Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor, Uttara University.
The formal session of the program was concluded with a thanksgiving speech by the program chair, Professor Dr. Nurul Alam Khan. Also, the coordinators of the department and the section advisors of the 42nd batch introduced themselves to the freshers.

In conclusion, the orientation program was a success, providing a platform for the fresher students to get to know more about the department and the university. The speeches by the guests and the presentation were informative and engaging. The program was well organized and ran smoothly. After ending of orientation a cultural program is also held for new students and all students enjoy this program completely.
