Md. Turab Hossain is a dedicated academic and administrative professional with a strong background in information and communication technology, education accessibility, and university administration. He holds a Postgraduate Degree in ICT from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). His postgraduate thesis focused on developing low-cost embedded systems for fire detection in residential environments, highlighting his commitment to practical, community-impacting innovations. Also, he has completed an Internship (AI3 & SOI Asia, Human Resource Development program) at Keio University, Japan. Currently serving as a Section Officer (ARR) in the Office of the Registrar at Uttara University, he is responsible for managing academic affairs, student records, enrollment processes, and ensuring institutional compliance. His prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Consultancy Service Assistant at IICT, BUET, where he contributed to inclusive education initiatives and digital transformation projects in the education sector. Turab is also an active member of the DiversAsia initiative and has played organizing roles in numerous national and international academic conferences and workshops. His technical skills span Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe tools, while his research interests include digital accessibility, education technology, and data systems.
