A team of 45 students along with 5 faculties (Md. Delwar Hossen, Md. Chand Ali, Muhammad Taheruzzaman, Sheikh Farhana Binte Ahmed & Ali Ahmed Ave) made an industrial visit at Ghorashal Power Plant, Palash, Narshingdi on 25th September 2022. They visited several Power generating Units and sub-station encompassing electrical and mechanical aspects of one of the oldest power plants in Bangladesh.

The Department of EEE expresses gratitude to two current students of the 35th Evening batch EEE UU, Md. Emran Hossain and Md. Meklin Azad, who is also working at the power plant as Sub Assistant Engineer and enthusiastically accompanied and helped the students throughout the visit. We also missed our two more students Md. Israfil Islam and Md. Farhad Hossain of the same batch is working at the same power plant as Sub Assistant Engineer. We express our heartiest thanks to two former faculties of DEEE, UU who are now at Ghorashal Power Plant, Md. Istiaque Islam, Sub-Divisional Engineer, and Kartick Mondal also Sub-divisional Engineer for their unwavering support throughout the visit.
