Seminar on “Employers’ Expectation from Fresh Graduates”

The Monthly Career Talk program of the School of Business was inaugurated by the speaker of the first seminar Mr. Md. Musharrof Hossain, President, Federation of Bangladesh Human Resource Organizations (FBHRO) and Head, Human Resources Management, icddr,b on October 02, 2021, Saturday at 3:00pm in google meet platform. Mr. Hossain spoke on “Employers’ Expectation from Fresh Graduates”. He clearly presented the current situation of the job market, employers’ expectations from the graduates, graduates’ career skills gap and their most important employability-related skills for getting the handsome job. Professor Dr. ASM Shahabuddin, Dean, School of Business played a role of moderator in the seminar and Associate Professor Mr. Kazi Tareq Ullah, Dept. of Business Administration was the discussant of the program. More than 78 outgoing BBA and MBA students and 12 faculty members of the School of Business were present in the seminar. The seminar was followed by a vibrant questions and answer session. The seminar was hosted by Assistant Professor Mr. Md. Anisuzzaman, Director, CCD of School of Business, Uttara University.
