The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Uttara University organized a comprehensive workshop today, titled “Fundamentals of Teaching at Tertiary Level.” The event at Conference Hall 1 of Uttara University brought together esteemed educators and newly appointed faculty members to delve into key aspects of tertiary-level teaching.

Prof. Dr. S M Hafizur Rahman from the renowned Institute of Education & Research (IER) at the University of Dhaka was distinguished as the keynote speaker. Prof. Rahman’s expertise and insights illuminated the discussions, offering invaluable perspectives on effective teaching methodologies tailored for higher education.

The workshop garnered participation from a spectrum of academic leaders, including Prof. Dr. Gour Gobinda Goswami, the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Uttara University, Associate Professor Mahmuda Begum, Dean of the School of Education and Physical Education, UU and Prof. Dr. ASM Shahabuddin, Dean of the School of Business, UU, thus enriching the discourse with their presence and contributions.
